What is Responsible Gambling and why does it matter
Online gaming can be an enjoyable form of entertainment — but only when it is experienced in a controlled and mindful way. 81bd9 believes that every player's experience should be enjoyable and safe. Our goal is to create an environment where entertainment never becomes a burden.
Responsible gaming means making conscious decisions about when you play, how long you play, and how much money you spend. It is not a sign of weakness — it is the mark of a smart player. At 81bd9, we are committed to providing you with the tools and support to help you stay in control at all times.
Remember — gambling should never be seen as a source of income. It is purely a form of entertainment. If you feel that gaming is having a negative impact on your lifestyle, relationships, or financial situation, seek help now.
Our Protection Tools
81bd9 provides the following tools to help keep you safe. Use them to maintain a healthy and enjoyable gaming experience.
Deposit Limit Setting
Set a maximum deposit limit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once a limit is set, you will not be able to deposit beyond it within that specified period — this reduces the risk of overspending. The minimum deposit at 81bd9 is just ৳100.
Time-Out
If you feel you need a short break, take a temporary time-out. Using this feature, you can suspend your account for a set period — from one day up to several weeks. During this time, you will not be able to log in.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel that gaming is getting out of control, opt for long-term self-exclusion. During this period, your account will be completely deactivated. The 81bd9 support team will assist you through this process.
Session Time Limit
Set a limit on how long you play each day. Once the set time is up, the system will automatically alert you. This helps prevent unintentionally playing for hours on end.
Gaming History Review
Log in to your account to view your full gaming history, along with records of deposits and withdrawals. This is an effective way to understand your own patterns — it helps you make informed decisions.
Direct Support
For any questions related to responsible gaming, the 81bd9 support team is available seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Reach us via live chat or email — in both Bengali and English.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
If you notice the following signs, it may be an indication that you need help:
Feeling a repeated urge to return to gaming in order to recover lost money.
Neglecting responsibilities to family, friends, or work in order to spend time gaming.
Placing bets beyond your financial means or borrowing money to play.
Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when unable to play.
Lying to family or people close to you about how much or how long you play.
Turning to gambling to escape life's problems or relieve stress.
Safe Gaming Tips
Following these habits will help keep your gaming experience positive at all times:
Set a fixed budget before you play and do not go beyond it — do not increase your budget in the hope of winning.
See gaming as entertainment, not a way to earn money. Losing is normal — learn to accept it.
Take regular breaks. Do not play for long stretches at a time — get up, walk around, drink some water.
Avoid playing when you are drunk or under stress — it is difficult to make sound decisions in that state.
Use 81bd9's deposit limit and time-out tools when needed — doing so is a sign of strength.
Spend time with family, friends, hobbies, and work outside of gaming — maintain balance in your life.
Self-Assessment
Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer "yes" to one or more, consider seeking support:
- Do you spend more money than the limit you set for yourself?
- Do you place more bets to try to win back money you have lost?
- Have you tried to stop playing and failed?
- Is your gaming habit causing problems at home or at work?
- Have you borrowed money or sold valuables in order to play?
- Is thinking about gaming disrupting your sleep, work, or daily life?
- Have loved ones expressed concern about your gaming habit?
For Parents
If minor members of your household use devices, take the following steps:
Enable Parental Controls on devices and restrict access to online gaming sites.
Keep your 81bd9 account password and login details private — do not share them with minors.
Have open conversations with your children about the risks of online gambling and help them build healthy digital habits.
